Project description

Vis Pre-surgery is a clinical nutrition product taken by patients before going under — the kind of product whose effectiveness depends entirely on whether a surgeon recommends it, and whether the patient actually takes it. That meant the brand had to serve two audiences with opposing needs at the same time. Surgeons stake their professional credibility on what they recommend, so the brand had to read as clinically serious. Patients are anxious, often elderly, and walking into one of the more vulnerable moments of their lives, so the brand had to feel reassuring and human. Most products in clinical nutrition pick a side. Vis didn't have that option.

Vis came to us with a logo and a color palette and nothing else. We built the system around them — stickpack and box packaging engineered for hospital handoff, surgeon-facing print materials with the clarity a clinician expects, and product visuals that present Vis with the seriousness a medical professional looks for without tipping into cold. Brand guidelines tie the whole thing together so every future touchpoint stays in the same disciplined lane. The result is a system that earns trust on both sides of the recommendation: clinically credible enough for the surgeon making the call, calm enough for the patient making the choice.
