Full-system branding for a Connecticut CrossFit gym leveling up without losing edge.

Project description
CrossFit branding tends to land at one of two extremes — bro-aggression on one side, sterile boutique-gym minimalism on the other. Hook'd had built a real community in the middle of that spectrum, and the brief was to level up without flattening the raw athletic culture that earned them the membership. The strategy was straightforward to name and harder to execute: keep the edge, build the system. Give an established gym the infrastructure to attract, convert, and retain new members without sanding off what made the existing ones loyal.
We worked across brand, creative direction, strategy, and a high-performing Webflow site as one connected system. A gritty, confident identity sets the tone — typography with weight, a palette built for contrast, and a visual language that holds up on a t-shirt and on a landing page with equal credibility. The site does real funnel work, moving cold visitors toward first-class signups with the same character members feel inside the gym. The result is a brand that reads as serious about training, serious about its members, and structured enough to grow into.
